A Legacy of Trust

Bernardette’s Gift Shop opened its doors in 1975 by its founder Bernardette Aquilina in the village of Qrendi. Spanning over 5 decades, the shop has remained a familiar and trusted place for generations. Following the passing of Bernardette, the shop was lovingly inherited by her niece, Heidi, in August 2015. With deep respect to what had been built before her, Heidi undertook a careful renovation of the space, bringing new life to the shop while preserving the character that had long defined it. During this time, the shop gradually expanded its range, introducing new brands and a broader selection of homeware and decor.

A Family Heirloom 

For our family, Bernardette's Gift shop is far more than just a business. It is something that has been passed down with care that carries responsibility. While the shop continues to grow and adapt, the values behind it remain unchanged. We strive everyday to build upon what came before us, and always remaining mindful of the legacy that we have been entrusted with.
